School

The other day I received a letter from OTC saying that unfortunately I did not make it into the LPN program this quarter. So they put me on the waiting list for next quarter. If I even got in I would still have 64 hours left to finish up.

However if I started back to Waycross College they have a Associates in Nursing that would allow me to take the boards to become a RN. They whole program takes 72 hours! I have already had a few of the classes so it would take less for me. So why should I continue to sit on a waiting list at OTC just to become a LPN when I can go straight into Waycross college and finish faster with a higher degree?

So I am pretty sure that come registration time for the Spring semester at Waycross college I will enroll there. It will be more challenging and take more study time and hard work. But I do believe that I can do it.

Rawr

I seem to have insomnia again tonight. It seems to my new thing I guess along with my hair falling out. I guess I am just stressed out. No clue what I could be stressed about though. Probably just work, school, and Bryants job switch. He decided to go back to Rite-Aid after working with Dollar General for a few months. It is more money and it isn't salary. Which is good because he won't be working 50-60 hours a week. Oh and he will be home sooner because Rite-Aid doesn't close as late. But I have to go back to ironing dress shirts and setting out ties for him. I just hope him getting this job is one more step in the right direction for us getting out and having a real place one day.

School

So I have been put on the waiting list for the LPN program at OTC. I should know by August 31st if I got in for this quarter or not. I really hope I do because I sure can not to continue waiting until next year. I will go absolutely crazy sitting around. I am just ready to be in school so I can hurry up and finish. I am so tired of working part time at just a job. I am ready for my career to start!
